To bring the life back into wooden floors you remove ALL old varnish and court markings with Zirconia sandpaper with coarse 24 grit, medium 40 grit , fine 80 grit followed by finishing with a Bona flex machine 120 grit. All machines with built in vacuums.
Apply barrier seal or base prime and two pack clear polyurethane floor seal.
No matter what your requirements for court markings, Netball, Basketball, Volley Ball, Netball, Handball, Hockey, Badminton.
All carried out to the affiliations of each sporting body and even if a small gym we ratio the courts down to match the building size.These are all applied with two pack polyurethane paints. Normally after two coats floor seal then court markings and two further coats on top to seal the lines in.
If you have a floating floor or a fully bonded floor we can fine cut out individual boards or planks and replace. Even if sub floor has loose joist hangers we can repair. With parquet blocks we can even paste fill the joints with a solvent resin, mixing the fine sawdust of the floor with the solvent for a beautiful match.
Fitting Service
For any new timbers including the industry leading manufacturers Junkers, Haro and Solid Oak parquet blocks, coming pre-finished or un-treated.
Along with fitting we finish to manufacturers’ specifications with cork or 15mm expansion joints to perimeter, then fit new skirting boards or scotia / quadrant mould.
Door ways are ALL fitted with ramps for no trip hazard or wood to carpet transition
