This Old Parquet Floor hasn’t been touched for a long time. With lots of polish built up and many deep marks. In need of some TLC!
The first cut is the deepest to remove old varnish and polish. We start sanding the floor against the grain using a 40 grit on a Hummel and Bona belt sander. Then we move onto sanding on the diagonal following your parquet pattern getting floor really clean.
After plenty of sanding going through coarse, medium and fine sandpaper on the Hummel and Bona belt sander. We changed onto our Bona Flex buffer machine to achieve a lovely smooth flat finish.
Commercial finish we apply a Juckers base prime to give the wood more depth in colour. Then Apply 3 coats of Junckers HP Commercial semi-gloss seal for a premium finish.
