JUNCKERS
Junckers is a premium European manufacturer of high-end lacquers, primers, maintenance products, and wooden flooring, founded in 1930.
School Gym Floors Ltd have been using Junckers products for many years, including their HP Commercial lacquer which is a two-pack satin polyurethane water-based floor seal, providing a professional finish and long-lasting durability ideal for high-traffic areas.
We usually apply three to four coats for maximum protection.
We also frequently use Junckers Baseprime oil-based primer to bring out the natural colours of the timber, creating a strong foundation for the top seal.
Junckers HP Commercial seal is the perfect choice for places like school gymnasiums, village halls, nightclubs, restaurants and leisure centres, where it can withstand regular heavy foot traffic.
OSMO OIL
Osmo Oil is a solvent-based protective treatment for wood, founded in 1878.
It is a completely different finish to lacquer, as it penetrates deep into the wood;
lacquer, on the other hand, sits on the surface, creating a layer. Osmo Oil requires an extra coat every 6-9 months, depending on foot traffic, along with the correct cleaning plan. Unlike lacquer, you can only apply one coat of oil per day.
With its natural properties, Osmo Oil is a great choice for projects, such as churches, where a traditional finish or a specific oil finish is desired. With its durability, ease of application, and a wide range of colors, Osmo Oil is an excellent choice for any woodworking project.
Morrells
Morrells is an established manufacturer of superior light fast wood stains, lacquers, and French Polishing products, founded in 1902.
School Gym Floors Ltd rely on Morrells stains to transform the natural tones in timber with deep, rich colours. These stains are designed to be lacquered after just 15-30 minutes, making them ideal for commercial projects.
